Quiet Saturday Morning

My oldest son left for soccer game around 8:45am, and youngest left for his friend's birthday party around 9:45am.
It is so quiet.

Since I had a miner surgery on Thursday, I am supposed to be rested.
I've been doing laundry, cleaning and cooking...and I know I should not be doing them. I started having some pain agan.

I am going to sit down and take a break today.

Getting Ready for Colonoscopy

I have to get Colonoscopy done tomorrow.
I can't eat anything today...All I had was a few jellos and a can of chicken broth. I started taking Miralax mixed with Gatorade this afternoon, and I ended up spending most of afternoon in my bathroom.
Let me tell yall, it is not fun.
I am so hungry!!
I hope I can make it to tomorrow...

There are many recipe website out there. But I have to tell you about this youtube channel. Because this lady will demonstrate whole process from the start to finish on her cooking. If you would like to learn "true" Japanese cooking, you must watch her channel.

I tried several dish, they came out "perfect". My husband and children loved what I cooked.

This will be our dinner for tonight. I did not like cooking before. I was more like a microwave dinner mom. But I just can't find anything I like at the stores or restaurant. I feel like I am wasting my money. And I realized that my cooking skill is not so bad.
I love cooking now. I just need to try different recipes.

Serious Ear Infection

My youngest got a strep throat. And I knew I was going to get sick.
No, I did not get a strep throat. Instead, I got ear infection, serious ear infection.
I have never felt that miserable before in my life. The pain was honestly worse than labor.
I was literally crying at the doctor's office.
I was in a bad mood for several days. I knew I was a bxxxx.
I could not open my mouth, could not hear, had pain everywhere and so on. It was just horrible feeling. My doctor gave me stronger pain medication, and it is helping me east my pain tremendously. My hearing is half-way back.

Something Wrong W/My Cat

My cat kept throwing up his food right after eating. I took him to vet before but they told us there was nothing wrong with him...
Tonight he threw up like 4 times so far...I know he is getting older. I just don't know what to do.
I can't go to sleep tonight...I am kind of worried.

Black Widow

OMG!
We found a bunch of baby black windows in our kitchen. I did not realized they were black widows. I kept mashing with my fingers and was wondering where their mom was...right? Then my husband was taking a box of recycle bin outside...yes, he spotted THE MOM.



I immediately grabbed the spray and killed it. I went back in the house and looked around everywhere in my kitchen. I needed to make sure to get rid of all the baby spiders.

This is one thing I hate about this area...too many bugs!!!

Healthcare for All Of Us

What's wrong with us? People who oppose to this bill are the people who already have health insurance. Since they are already covered, they don't want to help for the people who can't afford health insurance. Why? Because they feel like they have to pay extra for somebody they don't know.
I am surprised...I thought this country was based on Christian belief...
I thought you were supposed to love your neighbor.
Instead, people just care about their own wealth.
America is changing for worse.
We are trying to change for better...but others are changing for worse.

Got a Flu

Finally, I got a flue. Yeah, new kind. My oldest and I got sick first. Then my husband got sick. After 3 days, I finally start feeling better. The doctor did not run any test on us. My youngest did not get sick at all. I guess he is the lucky one.

I was glad that I brought a few boxes of mask from Japan. All of us wear at home not to pass around our germ to each other. We've been taking over the counter flu medicine.

Take enough fluids...that is the best advice I can give you.

Cervical Cancer Research

I was asked to participate for cervical cancer research when I went to the doctor the other day. They told me I could have $40.00 wal-mart gift card to just give my sample.
I said OK. Then only 3% people would be chosen for the research...then I would get $100.00...Well, I guess I was a lucky one. I was chosen for the research.
They will pay for the exam for the cancer.
I told them I would come as long as it's not painful.
I did it last week...
They took my tissue as a sample for their research, and I got $100.00 check.
It wasn't so bad, but I was clumpy for a few days. I am just hoping the result would come back as negative...I will find out in a few months.
