What a Birthday

Aug 28 was my birthday. After the Hurricane Irene hit our area, we lost electricity for a few days. After we got our electricity back, we still did not have Internet.

Let me tell ya, it was tough not having internet or cell phone service.

On my birthday, we went out to see if there was any store opened. I called my parents in Japan and told them about the power outage. You know what they say? They told me they did not have power for 60 days!!
Compared to that, losing the power for just a few days is nothing.

People in Japan lost much more than people in here. I realized that we did not need to complain.
